Summer Program

Summer of Discovery is a full-time summer program program led by four certified teachers and two assistants to offer your camper a summer of learning, discovery, and plain old-fashioned fun.

Dates: June 14 through August 13, 2010

Days: Monday through Friday

Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Ages: All school-age children (those entering kindergarten through 8th grade) are welcome.

Registration

Please sign and return the Registration Form along with a $55 registration fee per camper or $80 per family by May 21, 2010 to receive your free t-shirt.

Weekly Payment

Payment is due the first day of attendance each week. A receipt is available upon request. Please make checks payable to OLCS Summer Program. We also ask that field trip fees not be included in your weekly payment.

Meals

We offer a balanced breakfast and lunch each day, along with an afternoon snack. A monthly meal calendar is available upon request. Children may bring their own lunch if they prefer.

Schedule

Each day will be filled with a wide variety of fun, educational, and exciting indoor and outdoor activities including a daily lesson and craft. Each week’s activities will revolve around our specific theme. Every Thursday will be our field trip day, and every other day of the week will feature a special activity.

Field Trips

The group will take a field trip every Thursday. The cost of trips will vary. The fee is due the morning of the event. If your child is required by Pennsylvania State Law to ride in a car seat we ask that you leave your car seat with us on field trip days.
