41 Students Take Honors at PJAS Competition
The 41 OLC seventh- and eighth graders competing in this year's regional Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science competition earned 23 first awards and 18 second awards. All 23 first award winners also received special awards for excellence in their field, and three students achieved perfect scores.
Students celebrate Chinese New Year
Our Lady's Christian School students are celebrating the Chinese New Year with a week of activities designed to help them understand Chinese culture and tradition. The celebration complements the school's Mandarin language curriculum.
OLC's Engel Places First in MathCounts
Congratulations to OLC eighth-grader Ben Engel on finishing first among all competitors at the local MATHCOUNTS competion held Saturday, February 10 at Gannon University.

Registrations Now Being Accepted for Next Year
Our Lady's Christian School is now accepting registrations for the 2007-08 school year. New registrations can be mailed or brought to the school office between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays, or you can stop by the office on Sunday, February 18, 2007 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Swimmers Win Sixth Diocesean Championship
Our Lady's Christian School Swim Team won its sixth consecutive Diocesean Swimming Championship on Sunday, February 4th.
Principal Unveils New "Academy of Learning"
Principal George Ogeka announced today the establishment of the Academy of Learning Tutoring Program at Our Lady’s Christian School. The program, set to begin February 6, is designed to help students in kindergarten through eighth grade make academic gains through small individualized tutoring sessions.
Catholic Schools Week Activities Announced
Our Lady's Christian School will celebrate Catholic Schools Week from January 28 to February 3 with activities that highlight "Our Faith, Our Children, Our Families, Our Future, Our Spirit."
Holy match-up! CYO team takes on Runnin' Revs
On January 7th Our Lady's Christian School will play host to the game of the season: the Saint Jude CYO Boys Basketball team versus the Runnin' Revs, a team of priests, seminarians and deacons from the Erie Diocese.

Friday will be a dress-up day for all students, and the Spirit Store will be open for last-minute shopping from 2:15 to 3 p.m.
Parent Broadcast: Stanford 10 Results Coming Home Dec. 18
Students will bring home their standardized test results in a sealed envelope on Monday, December 18.
Kids' Cafe Collection a Big Success!
Students and their families, along with faculty and staff, contributed more than 400 items and $300 in cash to the Kids' Cafe December 13. The donated items were placed in a "Christmas store" at the Cafe where needy children could shop for their family members.
