Back-to-school mini-courses set for August
OLC will offer a variety of classes designed and taught by OLCS teachers during the week of August 10-14. Subjects include math, language arts (writing), and computer.
Open House: Cancelled due to overwhelming success!
Because next year's preschool and kindergarten are almost full already, OLC will NOT have an Open House on April 19 as previously announced. We will be happy to host school tours by appointment and/or schedule a shadowing day for your child.
Time to register!

Wrestlers advance to state meet
Eight students competed at the Pa. Area VIII Junior Wrestling Tournment March 13-14, and three will advance to statewide competition.
OLC to host Diocesan Science Fair March 26
Nearly 100 fifth and sixth grade students, their teachers and families will gather for the event in which students present individual science projects to a panel of judges.

School community raises over $2,000 for Make-A-Wish
OLC students and families celebrated Catholic Schools Week last week by raising $2,224 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The funds will be used to grant a wish for a child with a serious illness.

"Story & Play Time" offers fun for "5-and-unders"
The first Story & Play Time will take place Monday, November 17 at 9 a.m. and will continue every first and third Monday of the month at 9 a.m. Activities include a story in the library, age-appropriate games in the gym, and snack time.
Football Playoff Game Wednesday
The Varsity Football team will face the first-seed Blessed Sacrament Bulldogs in the first round of the diocesan playoffs Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. at Mercyhurst College.
Grandparents Day scheduled for Oct. 8
Our Lady's Christian School will celebrate its annual Grandparents' Day next Wednesday, October 8 from 8:45 to 11:30 a.m. Grandparents or other family members or friends are invited to tour the school, share in activities, enjoy refreshments and participate in a prayer service with their grandchildren.
