New for Fall 2010: Half-day Pre-K!
To help meet a growing demand for Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K) classes for 4- and 5-year-olds, Our Lady’s Christian School will offer a Monday through Friday half-day PreK class in the Fall of 2010.

Warm response to OLC collection effort
Volunteers delivered items collected at OLC for The Warming Center of Erie: 17 large bags of clothing, blankets and towels, three large boxes of personal care items, and three large bags of hot drinks, snacks, and more!
OLC, OLP and St. George schools donate thousands of books to Hooked on Books
What better way to celebrate Catholic Schools Week than to get three great schools together to help others. Our Lady’s Christian, Our Lady of Peace and St. George schools—and their respective parishes—pulled together last week to collect books for Hooked on Books, a local organization that provides free books to families in need.
OLCS Swim Team takes 4th at Diocesan Championship
The OLCS swim team took 4th place in a close championship meet on Sunday January 31st at Edinboro University. Dozens of our Raiders swimmers placed in relay and individual events.

Classes resume Monday with 2-hour delay
Classes at Our Lady\'s Christian School will resume on Monday, January 4. A 2-hour delay is in effect due to inclement weather. Students should arrive in their homerooms by 10:25 a.m.
OLC Alumni Earn Honors
Twenty alumni earn first and second honors during the first semester at Cathedral Prep.
7th Annual Jan Freeman Basketball Tournament Dec. 3-6 at OLCS
The tournament will match boys’ varsity and junior varsity teams from throughout the Erie area. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Athletic Program at Our Lady\'s Christian School and The American Cancer Society.
Students create artwork for Sisters of St. Joseph Thanksgiving Dinner
When needy families sit down to enjoy the Sisters of Saint Joseph's Thanksgiving Dinner, they'll be welcomed with artwork from OLC students.
"Story & Play Time" starts Friday
Mark your calendars for 9-10 a.m. on the first and third Friday of the month for Story & Play Time at OLC! Children 5 and under enjoy a story in the library, then go to the gym for fun and games and finish with snack and drink in the cafeteria.
Mrs. Huya honored with "Golden Apple Award"
OLC kindergarten teacher Maureen Huya is this week's Gold Apple Award winner. The award, sponsored by WJET TV and Edinboro University, recognizes excellent teachers from throughout the region.
