Academy of Learning Tutoring Program

The Academy of Learning Tutoring Program at Our Lady’s Christian School is designed to help students in kindergarten through eighth grade make academic gains through small individualized tutoring sessions.

The Academy of Learning concentrates on providing remediation in Language Arts and Mathematics. In addition, the Middle School students work on note taking, study skills, organization, and test taking strategies.

Students must be referred to the Academy of Learning by classroom teachers using the following criteria:

  • standardized test scores
  • teacher recommendations
  • DRA and DIBELS testing
  • report cards
  • level three and four accommodations.
