Clearances

If you are a scout leader, coach or regular volunteer who have consistent contact with the youth of our parish or school, then you must complete the following clearances:

Pennsylvania Criminal History Check

All volunteers must complete a Pennsylvania Criminal History Check. This link will allow you to complete the form with a credit card, and results should be available within a few days, if not instantly. Once you have completed the criminal history check, print the results, you must then complete the Child Abuse History Clearance Form(be sure to complete the criminal history report first then attach to this form). Once you have received the Child Abuse History form back from the State you must submit copies of both forms to the school office and retain copies for yourself.

Creating a Safe Environment Workshop

All volunteers must also review the compliance statement for the diocese. The certificate for attending the Creating a Safe Environment workshop is distributed at that session which is conducted periodically at Our Lady's Christian School. You only need to complete this workshop once.

Diocesan Creating a Safe Environment Inservice

This website will allow you to view the mandatory training video for Creating a Safe Environment Inservice. Upon completion of the video, which you may watch at your leisure, simply answer 10 questions, receive a score of 80% or greater, and print your certificate. Once you have printed the certificate please present a copy to the school office and retain a copy for your records. The site requires a password, which can be obtained from the school Principal or athletic director.
