Clearances
All coaches and assistant coaches must have the appropriate clearances as mandated by the diocese. Coaches are considered "Volunteers Having Unsupervised Contact with Children" and are required to have the following clearances:
- PA State Police Criminal Record Check
- Dept. of Public Welfare Child Abuse History Clearance
- Federal Criminal Record Check (if not a Pennsylvania resident for the previous two years)
- Diocesan Compliance Statement
- Diocesan Creating a Safe Environment Inservice
- Diocesan Application for Volunteers with Children (including references)
All coaches must complete a Pennsylvania Criminal History check. (This link will allow you to complete the form with a credit card.) Once the criminal history report is complete, please the Child Abuse History Clearance Form (You must obtain the criminal history report first then attach to this form).
All coaches must also review the compliance statement for the diocese. The certificate for attending the Creating a Safe Environment workshop is distributed at that session which is conducted periodically by the Principal of Our Lady's Christian School. You only need to complete this workshop once.
