How much will it cost me to participate in this program?
Nothing! You don’t have to buy anything extra, you don’t pay a penny more, and you can make your purchases whenever YOU choose. The reason for its effectiveness is simple: families receive the rebate by making purchases that they would make anyway, for groceries, clothing, etc.

Why do you refer to this as SCRIP?
Scrip is a term that means "substitute money". When we purchase scrip, we are purchasing negotiable gift certificates that are used just like cash.

What merchants participate in this program?
A list of merchants both locally owned and national companies are available for you on www.shopwithscrip.com . You will see the company name, the certificate amount and the percentage that will be the "rebate" that you will share with OLC.

How do I buy the SCRIP certificates?
Click here and register using OLC’s enrollment code 4472EB123816. Choose the items
you want, follow the directions on the web site. When completed with your order print
out your receipt and send it to the school office by 3 p.m. Monday with your payment.
Under normal circumstances you will have you’re item by Friday that same week.

Can you earn rebates even if you don't have a child at OLC?
Yes, follow directions above; this is a great opportunity for grandparents and other family members to help you and your child’s school.

How can I get my SCRIP order faster?
With ScripNow! you can easily and quickly order and download eCards from a growing
number of America’s favorite retailers, and benefit your favorite non-profit organization.

Each one is also available to be sent to a friend or loved one as an eGift. By using
SCRIP’s reload or SCRIP Now program, a limited number of merchants

How do you send the order home?
Your order will be sent home with the child you specify on your order form.

How long are my SCRIP’s good for?
They are just like a regular gift card you would go to the retailer and purchase yourself. Most are redeemable at full cost for one year. After that time, some start reducing by a small amount each month.

Are SCRIP certificates only good in the Erie area?
No, the certificates are redeemable wherever that retailer is located unless noted on the SCRIP order form.
